The 'Love Poems' website is intended as an educational resource dedicated to providing the Biographies, Pictures and Poems of the most celebrated American Poets. Although we believe that all of the information provided in the biographies is accurate we would be grateful to be informed of any errors or omissions. We would also be happy to include any additional information relating to the biographies offered by any of our visitors who have our same passion and love of poems. Our intention is that the reader's range of knowledge for each of the American poets, their biographies, pictures and poems can be increased effortlessly by perusing ' Famous American Poets' thus ensuring that the love of American poems is passed on to as many people as possible. The design of 'Famous American Poets' was developed to encourage immediate recognition of the most famous of all American poets.

As such, the objective of the contents and the information is especially suited to the younger generation and their teachers working on developing an overall appreciation of American poets and their poetry. The thumbnail pictures of the poets and the full size versions of the pictures have been presented in a format which is unique to 'Love Poems' and complements the essence of the site.
